Craig Miller Produces The Truman Show Premiere Craig Miller Produces The Truman Show Premiere Craig Miller Productions, an Atlanta based film and event production company, designed and produced the East Coast Premiere of Jim Carey's big summer hit, "The Truman Show." The premiere was staged in Seaside, FL, known as "Sea Haven" in the film, and the principal location for filming "The Truman Show." The event included a private screening of the movie and a black tie post screening gala at Seaside's Lyceum. The sold out event was limited to a thousand patrons.
The screening, the first time the movie was shown after the Los Angeles premiere, took place at the Santa Rosa United Artists Theatre, in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The premiere attendees were then police escorted to Seaside for the gala activities. A palatial circular tent covered the Lyceum grounds, and 14 of the region's finest restaurants delighted guests with their signature dishes. There also was live music and a silent auction. Craig Miller explains that they had every limousine in Northwest Florida rented for the evening.
