Mary Kettler Kapala, Account Supervisor, Julie Davis Associates.

Public relations and marketing firm Julie Davis Associates (JDA) hired Mary Kettler Kapala as Account Supervisor. Kapala will manage and supervise a variety of key accounts. Kapala has ten years of experience in marketing and public relations, with a strong business-to-business and consumer background in both agency and corporate capacities. Prior to joining JDA, Kapala was the President and Owner of Kettler Communications. Before forming her own company, she was a Senior Account Executive for Final Touch Marketing, and Public Relations Manager for Plant Equipment, Inc.

JDA also promoted Gary Budd to Account Manager. Budd joined JDA in 1995, and most recently served as Assistant Account Manager. In his new position, Budd will work on the The QUIKRETE Companies, Russell Athletic, Voice It Worldwide, Concourse Athletic Club, and The Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America accounts. During his tenure at JDA, Budd has worked with a variety of non-profit, consumer, and sports related clients including the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, Dunlop/Slazenger, and Hands On Atlanta. Budd currently serves as Associate Vice President of Public Relations for the American Marketing Association, and is an active volunteer with the Atlanta Area Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Before joining Julie Davis Associates, Budd worked as a Public Relations Consultant for Grady Health System in Atlanta. Prior to that, Budd served as Project Assistant for The Headline Group, also in Atlanta. Budd graduated with Bachelor's of Science degrees in public relations and journalism from Syracuse University.
