Eubanks And Sack Pitch Mindspring On The Air Eubanks And Sack Pitch Mindspring On The Air Audiences across the country are getting introduced to MindSpring's award-winning Internet service through radio advertisements featuring a disarmingly honest oddball named "Wendel." Keith Eubanks created Wendel prior to affiliation with comic Brain Sack. Eubanks and Sack teamed up to take on MindSpring's radio advertising account. The team is trying to bring a new edge to radio advertising, with a quirky tone and a direct appeal to Generation X.
Nikki Nickerson, MindSpring's Director of Media and Promotions, explains that they searched for the best creative people in radio and found them in Atlanta. Eubanks once was Creative Director for 99X (WNNX, Atlanta) and now, he can be heard on 50 stations from London to California. Dubbed "the voice of modern rock" by numerous trade publications, Eubanks also pitches for TBS, Comedy Central, and the "Godzilla" and "Ally McBeal" soundtracks. Sack's lengthy list of radio voice credits include commercials for corporate clients Arby's, BellSouth, Krystal Hamburgers, Chiquita Bananas, and Sheraton Hotels. Sack also can be seen in local clubs with his comedy group, Laughing Matters.
