Sixty Second Airborne Battles For Good Radio Sixty Second Airborne Battles For Good Radio Sixty Second Airborne: A Creative Force For Radio finished production of new radio campaigns for Chiquita Banana, Hoopers Hooch Lemon Brew, and Next Day Blinds. Formed by local advertising professionals Brian Sack, Tommy Smeltzer, and Fred Leo, the Atlanta radio boutique's motto states, "in violent opposition to radio that sucks." Sixty Second Airborne offers turnkey radio creative and production for advertising agencies and direct clients. Sack, a Babbit & Reiman veteran, has worked for several years as a radio copywriter and voice over. Smeltzer worked at Doppler Studios for eight years as an engineer and voice talent. Leo spent ten years at McCann-Erickson/Atlanta. The trio didn't have to wait long before ad agencies and clients started calling. For Botsford Group client Chiquita Banana, Sixty Second revamped the famous Chiquita jingle from the '50s with a modern touch creating Alternative, R&B, and Country versions of the jingle which will air nationally. For Fountainhead Advertising, Sixty Second gave their client Hoopers Hooch (Bass Ale) an unlikely spokesman, a Scotsman named Fergus who sings off key, reggae love songs, about the beverage.
