Lee Dancy, Vice President, Rountree Group, Inc.

Rountree Group, Inc. promoted Lee Dancy to Vice President. Dancy joined Rountree last year as Senior Account Supervisor. Dancy provides clients with strategic counsel, communications planning, and account team management, and has developed significant experience in business-to-business communications, technology, consumer services, and tourism. Clients Dancy serves include a temporary staffing services company, an information systems consultancy, a health care products retailer, and a design/build firm. Dancy has more than 10 years of public relations experience and eight years of newspaper journalism experience, including working as a Reporter and Editor for major news organizations, including four years with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Prior to joining Rountree Group, Dancy served as Account Supervisor at Price/McNabb, in Charlotte, NC, one of the state's largest advertising and public relations firms. While there, Dancy managed tourism public relations for Asheville, NC, and supervised business-to-business and consumer accounts. In addition, Dancy worked for the Atlanta office of a national public relations firm, and served previously as Manager of External Communications for a major manufacturer in Georgia. Dancy is a graduate of Eckerd College, in St. Petersburg, FL, and earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, in Columbia. Also, Dancy is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
