Turner Production's Fresh Faces Turner Production's Fresh Faces Turner Production recently strengthened its editorial team with the addition of Editor John Oselette, who works on AVID, on-line, and EditBox. Oselette is based at Turner Production's Atlanta headquarters and reports to Domenick Esposito, Director of Production Operations. Oselette brings 13 years of production experience to Turner. He began editing in 1988 at Telemation in Los Angeles. From there, he moved on to California Communications, Inc. to edit numerous shows including ABC's "American Detective;" "Futures" an award-winning series with Jaime Escalante on PBS; various pilots for Carsey-Werner; and music videos for MTV. In 1993, Oselette moved back to his home state of Arizona and joined Desert Production Center, providing him with the opportunity to work on national sports projects such as PGA specials for ABC, NBA on NBC, NFL on NBC, Super Bowl XXX, and NFL on TNT. From 1995 to 1997, Oselette served as Senior Editor and Post-Production Supervisor at Positive Response Television and was responsible for the post production and duplication of more than 30 nationally and internationally distributed television shows. He also worked with Turner Sports at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Most recently Oselette edited at Center Court Digital Post in Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked on spots and features for the Phoenix Suns telecasts, in addition to completing commercial work with such agencies as BBDO, McCann Ericson, and Cramer Krassett.

Music Composer/Sound Designer Kamaal Malak joined Turner Production's sound design team. Malak is based at Turner Production's Atlanta headquarters and reports to Audio Manager Rob Mason. Malak began his music career in Hollywood in 1988 as a Composer/Producer/Bassist for such artists as Lenny Kravitz, Donna Delory, CeCe Peniston, and Dr. Dre. In 1993, he moved to Atlanta to join the Grammy Award-winning musical group Arrested Development. During his four years with Arrested Development, Malak performed for Nelson Mandela in South Africa and with Peter Gabriel on Gabriel's WOMAD (World Of Music And Dance) Tour. In 1995, Malak established his own music and sound design company, The Shed, to create music scores for such clients as Coca-Cola, Revlon, and TBS Superstation. He recently contributed to the Sprite campaign featuring NBA star Grant Hill, as well as to TBS Superstation's "13 Days of 007" promotion.
