Atomboy Grows Up Atomboy Grows Up Atomboy began work on their first "real" movie and merged with another company. "Save Yourself" has been lensing in and around Virginia Highlands at places like Buddies, Norma-Jeans, Smiths Old Bar, Groovy Girls, and Doc Cheys Noodle House. The all star cast includes Michael Catangay, Chris Parnell, Randy Cohlmia, Benny Perl, Bobbie Arnold, John Babcock, Dianna O'Brien, Kelly Stine, Tiffany Taylor, and Heather Atkinson, as well as a special guest appearance by Guadalcanal Diary's Murray Attaway. The movie's super-hip soundtrack features music by Spacehog, Republica, Stabbing Westward, and River Fenix as well as new songs by Guadalcanal Diary, Chris Downs Band, and few of the Atomboys themselves. A 1999 Atlanta premiere is in store. Atomboy's first feature length film will be released on DVD as well as in theaters. An Enhanced CD-ROM soundtrack will also be released.

The big news is Atomboy's merger with Splash New Media, an Atlanta based corporate communications company. Splash will handle the corporate side of DVD and Internet development with Atomboy providing technical resources. The deal will allow Director of Photography, Steven Grass and Producer Terry Tomasello to concentrate on "Save Yourself" and their next project, "The Weather Channel Movie."
