Panther On The Prowl Panther On The Prowl Broadus & Associates Advertising tapped Panther Productions to lense a new trade show presentation for Ericsson. Herb Kossover directed and Amy Reed produced the multi-level project which entailed obtaining a vintage 1967 Volkswagen Bug. The bug came in handy to demonstrate how Ericsson's newest broadband technology, ANXDSL is diversified. Ericsson's getting into the broadband Internet access business and wanted to show that they have a system that allows a lot of engineering packed into one service ala' the Volkswagen. Shot in Crawford's Studio Two, Kossover used the Ultimatte post system to show the actors in fast motion piling into the car. Dzignlight's Eric Deren provided the post ultimate animation, which included over 50 hours of matched animation.
Assisting Kossover was Gaffer Joe Clayton, Best Boy Scott Trimble, Grip Dave Fowler, Camera Operator Ed Myers, Camera Assistant Norman Andrews, Soundperson David Neesley, Steve Leete, Video Assist, and Make-up by Jaye Jackson. Cinefilm processed and CineTransfer's Ron Anderson was the Colorist. The show was cut at Artisan Pictureworks by Editor Dave Ballard.
