Ad/2 Atlanta Celebrating 30 Years Ad/2 Atlanta Celebrating 30 Years Ad/2 Atlanta, a nonprofit young professional advertising organization, marks 1998 as its 30th year in Atlanta. Every year the club selects a nonprofit agency and develops a full service advertising campaign pro bono. This year, Ad/2 Atlanta selected Mental Heath Association of Metro Atlanta (MHAMA) as the 1998-99 public service project.
Mental Health Association of Metro Atlanta provides education about mental illness and mental health, advocates for quality mental health care, and provides services to people with mental illness. Ad/2 Atlanta will develop a pro bono full service advertising campaign to help reduce the stigma of mental illness. The project will include television, print, billboard, and direct mail advertisements, as well as other special events, and will be submitted nationally and judged at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) national convention in Washington DC. Ad/2 Atlanta will send a team that will present the project at the convention.
