Esprit Creates Merger Esprit Creates Merger Esprit Creative completed a promotional campaign for Cable & Wireless' $1.75 billion acquisition of MCI Internet. This acquisition will establish Cable & Wireless as a world leading Internet provider. Esprit sent out over 4,000 customized mailers to MCI employees about to enter the Cable & Wireless family. Esprit tied the mailers together with customized copy, creative graphic design elements, and a "Together We're Better" theme. Mailers consisted of a kick-off celebration kit which included a t-shirt, baseball cap, mouse pad and screen saver in a customized box; a custom coffee cup with chocolates; various cookies in a tin; and a tree seedling mailer.
Esprit also produced the national meeting in Washington, D.C. The business theater production was, for many former MCI employees, their first introduction to Cable & Wireless and their role in the new company. Keynote speakers included Rich Yalen, CEO, Cable & Wireless USA, and customized performances by The Rhythmics. Additionally, the "Together We're Better" theme was incorporated throughout the meeting and various breakouts in banners, balloons, notepads and customized drumsticks, which the participants used in group skits on-stage.
Esprit was hired by Melia Design Group to install and implement the creative trade show elements for KI at the Neocon Show in Chicago, Illinois. The exhibition won "Best of Show" with design elements that included unique lighting and sound design, and nine plasma monitors with live actors, both used simultaneously to promote their new product line of Flexible Work Space.
