Big Mouth Gossip Big Mouth Gossip Cox Communications hired Big Mouth to complete a new animated Cox Logo and three Cox Digital TV Spots. Stephen Cocks, Creative Director, animated the Cox logo adding reflections, sophisticated camera moves, and a new star field background. Big Mouth also revised three Cox Digital TV Spots: "60 Movies," "200 Channels," and "Starsight Navigator." Big Mouth composited several new channel logos into a storm sky using the FLINT.
Erwin-Penland returned to Big Mouth for another Bell Atlantic spot. Shown on the Jumbotron in the Bi-Lo hockey stadium, home of the Greenville Grrrowl, the spot consisted of rapid hockey cuts interspersed with Bell Atlantic images. Avid Editor Jimmy Milans sliced the off-line to composer John Lambert's raging original score. Graphic Artist Debra Pae, created the 5 second opener using the FLINT. Stephen Cocks slapped on icy cool type treatments and optic burns, for a spot that scores!
Big Mouth Post just finished "Data Driven," a pulsing :40 video for DNA and Lucent Technologies. Using Formula One race car footage, Big Mouth cut together to the themes of speed, technology, and upgrading. Cocks re-colored the charging, fast-paced, racing images, then stacked jump cuts and shakes of images layered with manipulated type sequences. Next Wave Composer Lambert, created the original score, mixing Formula One sounds, gears, engines, air guns and more for a thrilling audible ride.
Big Mouth's Lucent Technologies and Greenville Grrrowl pieces were nominated for POST MAGAZINE'S "Best of Show" awards (Best Soundtrack and Best Editing respectively). Both spots will be shown at the Digital Content Creation Show in Los Angeles.
The Coca-Cola Company stopped by Big Mouth to post the biography of Robert W. Woodruff. AVID Editor Adam Boozer cut the 15 minute video using archive film and photos of Woodruff, and Coca-Cola images. Big Mouth gave the piece some zing by creating backgrounds, motion control camera moves and refreshing titles.
To handle growth, Big Mouth has added Sandi Solomon as Director of New Business and Project Manager. Prior to Big Mouth, Solomon was a Post House Operations Manager, and she worked in account management for such ad agencies as Fitzgerald & Company and Cole Henderson Drake.
