The Gas Guyô The Gas Guyô Georgia Natural Gas Services launched a statewide advertising campaign for 1.4 million potential natural gas customers and introduced "The Gas Guyô" The whimsical blue flame spokes-character, created by BBDO South, stars in humorous print ads and television and radio commercials that introduce Georgia Natural Gas Services. Georgia is the first state to pass legislation to allow customer choice by fully deregulating natural gas across all classes of customers, residential, commercial, and industrial, and across virtually all of the state.

Featuring the slogan "Now That's True Blue," the humorous campaign features print ads titled "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue," "Reliability," and "Inner Peace" that introduce the Gas Guyô and discuss the benefits of the GNGS brand. TV commercials titled "The Pitch," "Stove Guy," and others feature the Gas Guy'sô first visit with GNGS.
