Horst Brings Music to the World Horst Brings Music to the World Eddie Horst has been busy composing, producing, and recording many projects. Horst completed the scoring for the upcoming motion pictures "False River" and "Born Suspect." A complete music package for WAGA Fox 5's "Good Day Atlanta," music for a second season of "Salsa," GPTV's Spanish language show for children, and the opening theme for Cartoon Network's "Tex Avery Show" are all projects Horst also recently completed. Promos and advertisements that Horst recently completed include: IDs for Cartoon Network's "Cartoon Theater," promotional spots for the 1998 Goodwill Games, a national campaign, with Austin Kelley, for Church's Chicken, Rio Bravo's Unforgettable Mex television and radio commercials, NASCAR 98 promos, and the theme song for Cartoon Network's "Cartoon Quiz."
Horst also finished a Beatles medley performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and a performance of an Elton John medley by the Atlanta Pops Orchestra in Centennial Olympic Park. Horst also recorded several orchestral/string arrangements for a number of releases for prominent recording artists including: 2 songs for R.E.M.'s latest album "Up," 2 songs for Atlantic artists Collective Soul's next album, "Black Butterfly" as performed by Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, and Erykah Badu, 2 songs on the current album by Rowdy recording artist Monica, and 5 arrangements for blues singer Francine Reed's next album.
Upcoming projects include an authentic Native American soundtrack for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Southwest Indians project to be shown in HDTV and surround sound. Horst will also work on a score for Dystar's Georgia State Capitol project, also to be shown in surround sound and HDTV.
