New Minds at Mindflex New Minds at Mindflex Mindflex Interactive & Entertainment, an Atlanta based new media agency, welcomes Ellen Forbes as Programmer and Josh Vick as Video Editor. Forbes, prior to joining Mindflex, was a Senior Multimedia Author at iXL. Forbes had been looking to do interactive programming in a creative environment, and when the Mindflex position became available, it was hard to turn down. Previous clients include BellSouth, Lockheed Martin, United Parcel Service, and NewsCorp. Steve Tanner, President and Creative Director at Mindflex, explains that Forbes' background in marketing presentations, CD-ROM products and programs made her a natural fit in the interactive division. Forbes holds an Associates Degree in New Media from the Art Institute of Atlanta, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Massachusetts.
Vick comes to Mindflex from CNN where he was Production Shift Supervisor and full-time Editor working at Headline News, CNN International, and CNN Newsource. Vick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Marietta College in Ohio. His move to Mindflex was motivated by a search for a more creative environment. Vick's understanding of both linear and non-linear editing and the production process as a whole were just part of his all around talent. Ron Norris, Mindflex Vice President and Senior Producer/Director, explains that Vick is by nature a creative editor, and when you add that to the speed he learned in news at CNN, it becomes a win-win situation for the client and Mindflex.
