Turner Production Continues Post Personnel Drive Turner Production Continues Post Personnel Drive Turner Production hired Chris Wood and Stuart Smith as digital compositors. Wood and Smith are based at Turner Production's Atlanta headquarters. While earning a communications degree from Florida State University, Wood worked as Producer and Editor for the university's Seminole Productions. From there he moved to Atlanta, where he spent four years at Peachtree Post with such clients as Cartoon Network, WCW, CNN, US Airways, and Chick-fil-A. Smith gained his initial industry experience as a director of live remote shows at EWTN, a 24 hour cable network in Birmingham. After four years he moved into editing at Vazda Studios, also in Birmingham. Most recently, Smith worked as editor at Crawford Communications, where his clients included CNN, Cartoon Network, Coca Cola, and The Golf Channel. Smith attended the University of Montevallo.
Turner Production strengthened its editorial staff with the additions of Chris Wolfe as Online Editor and Scott Lansing as Avid Editor. Wolfe worked for seven years at The Museum of Television and Radio where he edited documentary packages. In 1995, he moved to Todd AO/Editworks in Atlanta. His clients there included CNN, TNT, TBS Superstation, and Turner Classic Movies. Wolfe is a graduate of George Washington University. Lansing graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993, and began working for Omni Films in Sarasota, Florida, as a 70mm camera assist on motion simulation shorts for amusement parks. After two years, he left Omni Films to work as Head Videographer and Editor for Artrix Video, also in Sarasota. In 1996, he moved to Atlanta to work at Todd/AO Editworks, where his clients included TBS Superstation, TNT, Coca Cola, and Dynasty Productions.
