3DI Loves the Nightlife 3DI Loves the Nightlife 3 Dimensional Industries CEO and President, Tom Pilotti recently introduced "3-D Indoor Advertising." The concept uses the emerging technology of photo lenticular imaging as an alternative to billboard advertising. Whether as an animated diorama or a bar sign, lenticular technology brings advertising to life with high definition 3-D, multi-image, or digital motion images. Digital motion captures multiple video or film images that if moved horizontally or vertically move in full, fluid animation like a mini movie. This interactive media is used to create a 2 by 3 foot advertisement, which is mounted on a low profile lightbox and displayed in more than 275 nightclubs and bars across the country. The program is tailored to the needs of each advertiser. In Atlanta, this new technology can be viewed at Neighbor's Pub, Tabernacle, Dixie Tavern, and Smith's Olde Bar. Since many of the indoor ads will promote cigarette manufacturers and liquor companies, Pilotti pledged to donate 1 percent of 3 Dimensional Industries' total gross sales, not to exceed $1 million, from the "3-D Indoor Advertising" program to local and national youth tobacco and alcohol prevention programs.
3 Dimensional Industries is the exclusive sales representative of the AXIS Animated Graphic System, a patented process which offers the largest depth of field and highest quality imagery in large format photo lenticular printing. While the presentation in the bar and nightclub setting is new, AXIS is utilized by international companies from the movie industry to car companies in various capacities, including trade show displays, signage, menu boards, bus posters, and artwork.
