Duffey Strengthens Technology Group Duffey Strengthens Technology Group Duffey Communications upgraded its technology group with the addition of Micky Long as Vice President of Technology, and two new business to business technology clients. Long will oversee the growth activities for Duffey's business to business, consumer, and interactive technology practice areas. Long brings more than twenty years of experience as a technology marketing communications specialist to Duffey. Most recently, he was Director of Marketing Programs for Tech Data Corporation. He also held advertising and marketing positions with IBM Corporation, Conner Peripherals, Hayes Microcomputer Products, and Siemens.
Long was appointed to the advisory board of the Atlanta/Southeast Region Y2K Solutions Center based in Atlanta. Long has been tapped to provide public relations counsel to the center. The Atlanta/Southeast Region Y2K Solutions Center is a non-profit collaboration of government, general business, and technology industry leaders seeking to raise awareness of Y2K issues and challenges and offer a resource base primarily to small and mid sized businesses.
Duffey Communications was voted one of the nation's Hot Creative Agencies for the fourth consecutive year, one of the nation's Top New Media Pioneers for the second consecutive year, and a Top Firm with National Capabilities for "Inside PR" magazine's annual Agency Report Card. Duffey also added two new technology clients, Association for Interactive Media, based in Washington, D.C. and Diversified Computer Solutions, Inc.
