Engineered Multimedia Takes Off Engineered Multimedia Takes Off Engineered Multimedia, Inc. , interactive multimedia developers, provided a computer generated simulation of a mission for NASA/JPL. The actual spacecraft lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in February. Led by Rob Abbanat, EMI provided NASA with several simulations, most notably the MARS PATHFINDER animation in 1997, which was distributed and watched as the real Rover landed on Mars. EMI is currently creating an interactive library entitled "The History of Space Transportation: Past, Present, and Future" for NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama.
