PBA's Clipper Receives Award
Milton Clipper, President and CEO of Public Broadcasting Atlanta, is a recipient of Phi Delta Kappa's 1999 Friends of Education award. The Phi Delta Kappa award acknowledges Clipper's success in focusing the resources of Public Broadcasting Atlanta toward the educational development of children in the Atlanta Public Schools. Phi Delta Kappa is an international professional fraternity that supports public education. Since assuming responsibility for managing the broadcast properties of the Atlanta Public Schools in 1995, Clipper's philosophy has guided a number of popular successes supporting the educational development of children, including the highly successful Mind Busters television program.
