No Slowing for WHOA! No Slowing for WHOA! The International CINDY awards recently presented WHOA! Films with a gold award for the Philips "Power of the Human Voice," a marketing video for voice activated technology. A bronze was awarded for the J. Walter Thompson entry titled "Bionic Melissa" for a Ford Explorer spot. The annual awards are presented by the International Association of Audio Visual Communications to honor talents of industrial filmmakers who produced films for training sales, promotion, and motivation. Over 2700 entries from 16 countries, world wide, participated in the International Cinema in Industry Competition.
BellSouth and Clarion Marketing and Communications tapped the energy of WHOA! Films to process a marketing plan. Clarion's Peter Borowski, Creative Director, and Scott Brown, Art Director, with Producer Shannon Ryan collaborated with WHOA! 's Bill Orisich to reinvent the visuals for the corporate image video. WHOA! 's Production Coordinator Kris Johnson organized the details for the one day shoot at APC Studios. Post production began with Editor Jon Philpot cutting, splicing, and adding effects to the video. FLINT craftsman Adrian Guedin on-lined the video and added a few extra details to enhance the piece.
