Blink Takes Pride in Change Blink Takes Pride in Change Blink Interactive recently gave Atlanta Pride's web site a fresh look. The remodeled site provides visitors with an informative interactive experience. The Atlanta Pride site features information about the 1999 Pride Festival and Cultural Celebration Month, a list of corporate sponsors, a calendar of events and many more informative sections than in prior years. Visitors can register online to become a Pride festival volunteer, participate in this year's parade, or make personal contributions to the Pride celebration.

Twenty-nine years after Atlanta's first Pride celebration, the festival has become the fourth largest Pride celebration in the United States. Tom Wright, Principal at Blink Interactive, states that this is the perfect opportunity to show support of a growing community within our city. Blink is a Silver Sponsor of the Pride celebration. Wright also pointed out that Blink will sponsor a booth at this year's festival in conjunction with Good To Be Home, a new home accessories online shopping web site.

Blink has expanded its operations to the nation's capital. The company's Washington, D.C. office will specialize in web site production for PR firms, lobbying groups, high tech companies and other businesses. Alex Farinas, Executive Director of Information Technology at Blink, will serve as head of Blink's D.C. office. Prior to joining Blink in May, Farinas was a Technology Consultant for the state of Washington. He holds a master's degree in political science and a bachelor's in philosophy from Washington State University.

If you are perhaps wondering about "Blink Interactive" you will want to know that in April, the company, formerly Blink Multimedia acquired Griffopolis, another web design firm. The acquisition prompted the new company name, Blink Interactive. Chuck Griffith, Griffopolis, CEO and President, now heads Blink's marketing group as Executive Director. The company also added new staff members: Lynn Neuman, Visual Developer; Michelle Reynolds, Visual Developer; Nina Smith, Business Developer; Kim P. Hall, Lead Visual Designer; Angela Saternus, Visual Designer; Christian Duncan, Interface Developer; and Jantzen Inada, Assistant Marketing Manager. This quadrupled the staff count from last November. To keep up with recent and expected growth, there are plans to move into a bigger office space later this season.
