Aydlotte Bids Adieu Aydlotte Bids Adieu Aydlotte & Cartwright's President and Chief Creative Director Bill Aydlotte resigned from the company July 30, 1999. "I founded this company back in 1985 with my partner and later my wife, Jeane Cartwright," says Aydlotte. "It is with great sadness that I am leaving A&C. Jeane and I are in the process of a divorce and while this is a private matter, I have found it impossible to remain with the company under the current circumstances." Aydlotte adds, "An attempt to sell the company was blocked by the A&C board of directors, thus I have no further recourse but to resign. I reluctantly leave behind a host of wonderful employees and clients." The future of the agency is still in discussion. Further details of Aydlotte's departure have not been made public.
