Guillotine Working Overtime Guillotine Working Overtime Guillotine Post Design recently helped Turner South launch the brand new Turner Network. Creative Director Pat Smith and Senior Writer/Producer Caroline Young teamed up with Senior Editor Michael Koepenick and Animator Jeff Baxter to create an identity for the network's first spots that began broadcasting July 4th weekend. Guillotine was awarded the next series of commercials, 16 graphic ID's, and the program to kick off the network's premier broadcast on October 1st.
TNT Producer Glen Owen worked with Fred Duffer to edit a spot promoting a fan participation contest, the NBA Tipoff Sweepstakes. Fellow TNT Producer Matt Hardwick created a 60 second promo highlighting the NBA's Alonzo Mourning and his charitable foundation with Editor Bobby Long at the helm. Turner Classic Movies' Ruth Anna Millman tapped Guillotine and Koepenick to edit a segment profiling July's TCM Star of the Month, Natalie Wood. Narrated by longtime co-star and friend Robert Redford, the mini-documentary aired throughout the month.
Editors Christo Harris, Fred Duffer, and Lance Haugan teamed up with Can Do Productions' Ted Stout to design and edit material for a CD-ROM for Symantec's Digital Immune System software. Paul Jorgensen created original music and provided sound design & graphic support. BrightHouse turned to Guillotine to create a video presentation to introduce "FlexLife" to Randstad Staffing employees. Editor Jimmy Milans brought BrightHouse's presentation books into full motion, utilizing the Symphony to animate hundreds of still photos and graphics to deliver the message directly from Chief Ideation Officer Joey Reiman.
Blue Marble Media has been posting a wide variety of projects at Guillotine, including CD-ROMs for Siemens and CheckFree. Other happenings at Guillotine include videos for Production Group International. PGI posted projects for Federal Express and Scientific Atlanta. New clients at Guillotine include Producer Ken Mead of Philips Electronics, editing an identity promo for the soon to open Philips Arena, and Steve Rutherford and Paul Silvestri of Aspen Productions, creating a meeting open for Delta Air Lines.
