Kossover & Company
Kossover & Company teamed up with Hot Haus Design of Dallas, Texas to lens a series of station id's and promos for the start-up Warner Bros. station in Tulsa, Oklahoma, KWBT. Director, Herb Kossover worked closely with Tulsa Producer, Scott Clark and Hot Haus Designer Terry Hart to manage two separate units that worked simultaneously. The first unit captured various scenes that depict the flavor of the Tulsa lifestyle, mixed with architecture and the natural beauty of the countryside. One scene was created when Kossover utilized a Fisher 22 arm to create an overhead sequence of Indian Fancy Dancers in full dress. The images will be flipped and layered with the WB logo centered in frame. The second unit captured time lapse images by Ben Butin of 2B Productions. Tulsa's downtown buildings were shot in the golden hour, as well as sunrise and sunset using time lapse and motion control. Kossover and Clark coordinated a Tulsa/Atlanta crew with equipment from Atlanta's PC&E. In addition to the ground footage, Kossover lensed aerials with the new Tyler two nose mount with pilot Larry Gass of Action Helicopters. Kossover last teamed with Hot Haus on projects for Atlanta's Fox 5 and San Antonio's KMOL.
