Crumbley & Alba/MRA will be known simply as MRA, completing the transition begun when the agency was purchased by the MRA Group of Syracuse, NY, last October. The agency also has a new tagline, "Brand Zealots." The new Atlanta leadership team includes Creative Director Rich Wakefield, formerly of Goldberg, Moser, O'Neill; Media Director Bill Askenburg, previously with Ogilvy & Mather/Atlanta; and Vice President of Public Relations Barry Finkelstein, who hails from Manning Selvage & Lee. They join Cheryl Lee, Director of Account Service, Lisa Huggins, and Mary Frances Jones, who heads account planning for MRA.
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) recently awarded two 1998 Silver Quill Awards to MRA. The Honors were given in recognition of work for clients Merry Land & Investment and BioLab, Inc. MRA received the awards at the regional levels and earned a Silver Quill in the "Audio/Video: Employee Communications" category for its work for Merry Land & Investment's employee orientation videotape, and earned its second Silver Quill for BioGuard's Pool & Spa Public Relations Guide in the "Special Publications" category.
