ITVA Welcomes New President John Robbins ITVA Welcomes New President John Robbins John Robbins is the new president of the Atlanta International Television Association, having taken over the role in mid-July from outgoing President Tom Young of iXL. A scriptwriter for video and multimedia, Robbins works with corporate clients in Atlanta, including BellSouth, Delta Air Lines, Georgia-Pacific, Georgia Power, Southern Company, and UPS.

Other newly elected ITVA offers are President-Elect Billy Pilgrim and Vice President Tyler Byers, both Writers/Producers. Chris Dixon, a Producer/Director with Delta Air Lines, will serve as Treasurer, and Production Assistant Tammy Thomas has been elected Secretary. Appointed members of the Executive Committee for 1999-2000 include Diana Del Monte, Denise Dillon, Jodi Goldberger, Ponch Orendain, Steven Panayioto, and Delores Peterson. New members of the ITVA Board of Directors are voice-over talent Cheryl Barbour, videographer Gentry Edwards, and Joe Gora, President of Artisan PictureWorks.

ITVA will also host the 1999 VidFest. As in years past, VidFest will be a celebration that highlights award winners and pays tribute to the best in their industry. The VidFest awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 2nd in Georgia Public Broadcasting's main studio, located at 260 14th Street in Atlanta.
