Synergy Gets Around! Synergy Gets Around!
Synergy recently partnered with Click 3X to produce a series of spots for Hammermill Paper. The client, International Paper, aimed to educate small businesses about the different grades of papers in the Hammermill Paper line. Next, Synergy traveled to the campus of Stanford University to shoot a Flexall QuikGel spot featuring Joe Montana, former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. DFI out of Los Angeles enlisted Director George Watkins for the spot. For Ingles grocery stores, Synergy helped Greg Maddux of the Atlanta Braves prove that he's as gracefully effective in front of the camera as he is on the pitcher's mound. The spot parodied the "rough life" of a professional sports star.
Synergy took a turn toward the dramatic with a direct response spot for Orkin with Advantage Direct. The commercial, directed by Watkins, called for a woman with frayed nerves, but quick wits. Distressed at the thought of insect invaders in her home, she smartly saves herself with a call to Orkin's 800 number. A Florida based client had Synergy produce a performance driven campaign for their new herbal dietary supplement. And for Dexatrim, Grey Advertising out of New York came to Atlanta to work with Synergy. Synergy also traveled to Dollywood to shoot commercials featuring on-camera hostess Dolly Parton and the park's new "Tennessee Tornado" roller coaster.
