Collateral Communications added four new members to the company. Karen Blakeney, Brandon Hornibrook, Stacey Avery, and James Diamond, Jr. joined the full-service graphic communications firm. Karen Blakeney, Senior Designer, brings over 13 years of design experience, including the past six years as a Senior Graphic Designer with UPS. Blakeney is handling the design of the BF Goodrich employee magazine and a promotional campaign for an art exhibition at the Oglethorpe University Museum. Blakeney graduated summa cum laude from the American College of Applied Art in Atlanta. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Brandon Hornibrook, Account Executive and Senior Copywriter, has worked in the communications field for two years. In his new position, Hornibrook will be responsible for managing print and new media for clients Brown & Brown, Cotton States Life Insurance, and Post Properties. Hornibrook holds a masters and a bachelors degree in English from Florida State University and is currently pursuing his MBA from Georgia State. Stacey Avery is the new Billing Coordinator. Before joining Collateral Communications, Avery worked as a Bookkeeper at Finast Superstore. Avery has a degree in Mathematics from Cleveland State University. James Diamond, Jr., Technical Support Administrator, brings extensive Macintosh technical experience and familiarity with the communications field. Before joining Collateral Communications, Diamond worked as the lead Macintosh Technician at The Mac Doctor in Greenville, South Carolina. Diamond also spent two years troubleshooting and consulting at the University of South Carolina Writing Center. Diamond has a degree from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg. Collateral Communications was recently presented with several Annual Report Competition (ARC) awards, which honor annual reports produced by firms throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. MerComm sponsored the competition. Collateral Communications produced award winning annual reports for the following companies: AutoNation, AGL Resources, Beazer Homes USA, Bowater, and Poe and Brown (now Brown and Brown). The highest award, A Grand Award, was received for AGL Resources for the best Letter to Shareholders.
