TNT Senior Producer, David Bryant teamed with Avid editor Myron Vazquez to create "Secrets and Mysteries of Animal Farm" a behind the scenes look at the TNT original feature "Animal Farm". The 30-minute show, which premiered October 6 on TNT, was in production for a year, shooting on location in Ireland. One of the main challenges for Bryant and Vazquez was creating the feel that the written word was a major part of the show. The show uses historical footage, photos, behind the scenes footage, and interviews to achieve its goal. Along with the variety of sources came a variety of post production challenges. "We edited with two different versions of the film," said Vazquez. "That presented some interesting scenarios. Also, the vast amount of sources, managing the footage, and the fact that two different crews shot the interviews all added to the challenge. We had to color correct and tint every archive photo and archive film shot to match the "look" of the show." The online was done in Post Modern's Symphony suite.
