The Art Institute of Atlanta has added photographic imaging to its list of fine art degree programs. Since the mid 1990's, the college has added to the fine arts degree program graphic design, computer animation, multimedia, and now photographic imaging. The college welcomed its first class of students to the program in October. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Educational Testing Service, photographers with computer experience and familiarity with various digital software packages will be most prepared to take advantage of the industry's employment opportunities in the new millennium.
