Pollak Levitt & Nel has named Heather Balkema as an Account Executive. Balkema will be joining the Georgia Power team. Balkema is joining PLN from the Lyerly Agency in Charlotte, NC where she worked on such accounts as the Charlotte DOT, Willamette Industries, YMCA of Charlotte, and the American Craft Council. Balkema is a graduate of the University of Michigan. PLN also named Melissa Richter as a Junior Account Planner. Richter will be assisting Paul Gilberto, Vice President, Account Planning. Richter held a previous position as Business Recruitment Manager for the Economic Development Council of Collier County, Inc. Richter attended Davidson College in North Carolina where she received her bachelor's in economics.
