WHOA! Takes Show to Decatur! WHOA! Takes Show to Decatur!

WHOA! Films will be relocating to 118 Church Street, Decatur in mid-November. They have taken an early 1900's house and transposed it with 2 Avid Suites, a Protools Audio Lodge with Voiceover Booth, and a Flint Effects and SoftImage Suite. By popular demand, Whoa! has kept the climbing wall and added a backyard bbq pit.

WHOA! Films and Producer Jodi Daley of West End Productions/NYC and Philips Electronics have created video installations for the new Phillips Experience in the Philips Arena. Brad Mace, Animator and Flint Artist Adrian Guedin created and designed special effects, animation, and graphical images that source multiple video walls, the Philips Totem, and interactive stations on the Hawkwalk. Bill Orisich is editing the work for the Totem and Jon Philpot is editing the images that will be on the two video walls.

Puff Daddy and Director Hype Williams stopped in to do some work on their latest music video collaboration (via Mars Media/NYC) entitled: Satisfy You. Bill Orisich also shot a point of purchase piece for Tasco and Celestron Telescopes, using Sony's new HD Cam. The piece is now playing at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and K-Mart stores. Jon Philpot edited and provided sound design, Mace created 3D animated planetary and product images and Guedin designed the title treatments. Philpot completed audio sweetening for People Count: Rags to Riches, with Greg Pope of Turner Environment Unit. This special will air as part of a series in many parts of the world and as part of college curriculum for Environmental Studies.

WHOA! Films welcomes Sales Director Diane Lasek, who will represent WHOA! Films in the Southeast as well as Chicago, New York, and LA. Thirteen years at Turner and experience in television syndication are elements that give Lasek the WHOA! edge.
