Stan Kaady Photography recently completed several photo projects for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. When Egleston Children’s Hospital and Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center officially joined forces in September 1999, new images were needed for all its marketing collateral pieces, as well as its internet and intranet site to reinforce the message, “As Special as Every Child We See”.

“The most exciting aspect of the project was it allowed me to help the Children’s Healthcare design team of Randy Davis and Stacy Celata establish a new look and personality to visually communicate children’s health care,” said Kaady. His experience with editorial clients certainly helped, the images are easygoing, colorful and animated, showing healthy kids doing what they do best, being kids. To get the quality of light needed, Kaady photographed in a daylight studio and used brightly colored backdrops, coupled with a selective focus technique. He was able to get his subject to “pop” in relation to the other kids in the photographs. In addition to Kaady’s many editorial clients, he has produced images for such corporations and agencies as MCI/WorldCom, BBDO South, BellSouth, iXL Interactive, Realestate.com, CMP Media, Equant Network Services, SCANA Energy Corporation, Ketchum Public Relations, GoodWorks International, and Radiant Systems.
