When FOX Sports Net needed an engineering department to help them set up their new facilities in Colony Square, the regionally based sports network turned to Technical Industries, Inc., the visual communications system and broadcast integrator. FSN Executive Producer Steve Craddock attributes the success of the network’s first live broadcasts to TI. The Atlanta based TI helped FSN do everything from design to build out of their new production studio. From planning to production, the facility took 9 months. FSN’s modern setup allows it to be competitive within the ever evolving world of sports news and entertainment. With this new facility, FSN plans to be able to produce multiple live shows seven days a week by spring 2000.
