Composer, Producer, and Recording Artist Eddie Horst has started the year off right. Horst has recently worked on several projects for films, including, a string arrangement for an R.E.M. piece featured in the motion picture Man on the Moon, a score for The Art of Falconry, a film sponsored by the United Arab Emirates, a score for False River, winner of the Bronze Award at the WorldFest Flagstaff Film Festival, an authentic Native American soundtrack for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Southeast Indians project, and an orchestral score for Dystar’s Georgia State Capitol project. Horst has also worked on complete musical packages for Turner South, the 20/20 episode “9 minutes 20 seconds,” the open and scoring for a series of vignettes for the Cartoon Network’s Nikki and Peg, the opening theme for the Cartoon Network’s Cartoon of the Day, and the closing title song for Super 17, a TBS show honoring volunteerism. Horst has also recently worked on Kodak’s Millennium Picture CD national television commercial, Movies, Movies for the Starz! national promos, a national campaign with DFI Creative for Hammermill Papers, the NBA Higher Ground promo for TBS, and the theme song for the Cartoon Network’s Promax award-winning Cartoon Quiz promo.
