Harris Digital Media (HDM) has just completed DVD projects for two Atlanta based companies. Philips Consumer Electronics hired HDM to author a looping trade show video, including a commercial and demonstration of the new Philips Audio CD Recorder. The video was compressed and authored on HDM’s Sonic Solutions Fusion XL system. Two DVD-R’s were provided, all at a cost of less than $1000. Post production company LAVA Post and production company Legendary Films, who team up on numerous projects, had HDM put together a multipurpose DVD featuring work from both companies. The DVD opens on a menu with six buttons leading to video segments and commercials, allowing the viewer to navigate using a remote control.
