Paul Hansil, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Crawford Communications, recently named Bill Thompson as new officer and Vice President of Post Production. Thompson will now oversee all of Crawford’s post production services, including editing, audio, graphics, telecine, and film lab. He was most recently the Director of Operations for the company’s production services division. Thompson will continue to head Crawford Production Services, but will be less involved in the division’s day to day operations.

Thompson began his career with Crawford in 1992, coming on board to plan, launch, and direct the production services division. Prior to that time, he had worked for Threshold Productions as a Producer, Director, Director of Photography, and Vice President of Production. Thompson has also owned a production company, served as a Broadcast System Designer, and freelanced. Thompson has a bachelor’s degree in film and television arts and a master’s degree in communication.
