It is with a heavy heart that we must report the passing of ASMP Atlanta/SE General member and friend Jim Shaw, on 28 March, of colon cancer. Primarily a fashion photographer, Jim’s work appeared in advertisements and catalogs for upscale department stores and furriers. Jim was the Executive Vice-President of Gardella & Company, and is survived by his wife Margaret, and his mother Geneva Shaw of Cocoa, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society for colon cancer research, and sent to 2200 Lake Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30309. A contribution from the local ASMP Chapter will be made to ASMP’s Educational Foundation.
