Charlie Willis, a well known local in the design industry, has gone solo. His new design and consulting company, Actual Reality, puts his 25 years of design, animation, post production, and special effects experience to the test, after previously working for Magick Lantern and Crawford Post Production. At Crawford, Willis launched Crawford DESIGNfx.

So with all the other design firms in town, what’s his angle? The integration of broadband technology and broadcast aesthetics to take video and animation into an entirely different domain. Willis plans to produce, design and direct film, video, and Internet projects out of his Actual Reality Studio. The company’s web site will feature cutting-edge video and animation.
