Bexel HD Takes Flight Bexel HD Takes Flight
1980’s rockers The Fabulous Thunderbirds probably never looked better after an exclusive High Definition webcast in February powered by Bexel’s HD flight pack. The pack and Bexel staff pulled off the first live, multi-camera HD webcast in history without a glitch. All production was performed on-site using a live switcher and five cameras. The two-hour show, “One Night in L.A.,” was the first in a series of live concerts to put HD video and studio-quality sound on the Internet. HD masters will be included on the band’s forthcoming DVD.
Bexel’s HDCAM camcorders are now being used to shoot the sequel to the feature film Jack Frost. With two full HD cinema style packages, Bexel is also providing technical support and training for crewmembers.
