Music Factory Wins Awards Music Factory Wins Awards
More tickling of the ivories at The Music Factory, where they recently took honors at The Adfed Addy Awards. The Atlanta based original music company won “Best in Show” and “Best Original Soundtrack” for two spots produced for Internet company Yellowhammer. Lewis Communications in Mobile, Piranha Pictures in Nashville, and Spin Productions in Atlanta also participated in the project, which featured a high energy techno soundtrack similar to the one heard in “The Matrix.” Others involved with the Yellowhammer campaign include Creative Director and Writer Jon Caroll, Art Director Ira Patrick, Agency Producer Meredith Portman, SGI Wizard Jesse Newman, Spin Producer Kathy Schlesinger and Piranha Producer Robert Zimmerman.
Music Factory also won another award for five spots directed by Collimation’s Cameron Cardwell for The University of Alabama. The warm, acoustic tone made this one another favorite. The Factory’s Creative Director Brian Preston composed, performed, produced, and engineered the soundtrack on all award winning spots.
