Artifact Design, an Atlanta graphic design firm, recently finalized a distribution agreement with Artbeats, a leading international provider of stock footage. Artifact will provide designed and animated backgrounds to Artbeats who will distribute them in NTSC, PAL and HDTV formats. The first set, called “Digital Aire,” was released at NAB in April and was Artbeats’ best selling product in just its first month. The set includes “technology-inspired” backgrounds that are :05-:10 in length and loopable. The set, as well as individual backgrounds, are available for preview and purchase from Artbeats’ website. The second release this summer will be a “digital business” set intended for corporate presentations and broadcast business programming. It will also be available in NTSC, PAL and HDTV and all of the backgrounds will be fully loopable.

In other news, Artifact has been busy working with Editworks and J. Walter Thompson on a summer advertising campaign for Ford. Artifact designed projects for WCW, The Scott Benson Co., and TNT as well as TBS Sport’s AT&T Halftime Report animation for the NBA Playoffs. The animation was designed around TBS’s new sports set, which debuted during the playoffs.
