James Powell has been promoted to Senior On-line Editor at Magick Lantern. The five year Magick veteran will now run the show in Magick’s component digital on-line suite. Powell has created programming for such clients as Turner Original Productions, DTV, Cartoon Network, Little Mammoth Media, and many others. Here’s the techie part: Powell integrates extensive use of Mac based programs like Photoshop and AfterEffects into the linear digital environment of the on-line edit suite.

Clive Jenkins has also joined the folks at Magick Lantern as an Effects Editor and Compositor. A veteran of post houses in Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Francisco, Australia, and New Zealand, Jenkins brings a great deal of experience and artistry. He has loads of experience in creating composites, animation, and special effects for such clients as National Geographic, Microsoft, TNT, and Intel. With Magick, Clive has already been busy working on spots and promos for The Weather Channel, WCW, The City of Atlanta, and Cartoon Network.
