Worldstorm Backs Puffy Tour Worldstorm Backs Puffy Tour

Worldstorm Arts Lab was given only two weeks to produce something “new and completely different” for Sean “Puffy” Combs’ 2000 European Tour. The team of Writer/Producer Francis Percarpio and Director/Editor Anthony Rahim Hakmati had previously produced something spectacular for Combs when they wrote, produced, directed and edited an art installation/video wall for the introduction of his Sean John ready-to-wear clothing line during fashion week in New York.

Worldstorm teamed with L.A. tour video director George Elizondo (TLC, Guns n’ Roses) to produce visual elements for every song performed during the concert. This meant nearly 90 minutes of original programming needed to be created for the tour.

The Worldstorm Arts Lab is currently home base for Visualuxury, the art installation and music video microstudio headed by Hakmati, as well as Phreak Productions, a fashion event video firm run by Leisa “Ching” Crossman and Seth Pajak. Worldstorm provides production and editorial to a diverse set of clients, including TNT, Southern Company, Platinum Entertainment, Promina Health System, Toshiba, and MTV.
