Aranella Beck Fearless Retouching, a division of Beck, was recently retained by the International Pre-Press Association to design and retouch the cover of the association’s next bi-monthly publication. Reflecting photography’s evolution, the cover tells the story from photography’s early techniques to the newest, most advanced digital capabilities. The narrative is told with a ghosted and merged collage which graces the cover and is explored in one of the feature articles. Ben Gamble designed and executed the cover. A graduate from The University of Georgia, Gamble has been a graphic designer and retoucher for over 5 years. He created the image in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Illustrator 8.0 using images from choice stock.
