Washington based marketing communications agency, Multi-Media Holdings, Inc. (MHI) has acquired Folio Z, the third major acquisition in two months. In July, MHI acquired two other marketing services firms outside Washington; Quantic Communications and Pollack, Levitt & Partners of Atlanta. Folio Z was the first technology focused agency in the Southeast, employing thirty and servicing clients such as NetVendor, ExecuTrain, Mincom, IT Utility, iFleet and VSI. President and Founder Chris Coleman is the author of two books scheduled for publication later this year with St. Barthelemy Press and McGraw Hill titled, respectively “The Green Bananas Papers: Marketing Secrets for Technology Entrepreneurs” and “How to Win the Technology Talent Wars.”
Of the acquisition, MHI’s President and Chairman, Ethan Assal said, “our goal is to create integrated marketing communications agencies in Atlanta and Boston which replicate [our] business model.” MHI has serviced such clients as Oracle, American Online, Bell Atlantic, IBM, Compaq, GEICO, Microsoft, American Express, the Washington Post and Hewlett-Packard and emerging companies CareerBuilder.com, Cyveillance, Servervault.com, CrossMedia, and MasterMind Technologies.
