Sawyer Riley Compton (SRC) flexes its creative muscle with the addition of Al Jackson as Associate Creative Director. Jackson hails from Boston’s Arnold Communications where he was Senior Copywriter. Jackson also had a stint at Ogilvy & Mather in Asia where he worked under Neil French. There he engaged the international eye with his work for Guinness, picking up a Clio and a Cannes award. SRC hopes the acquisition will further position them in the national creative landscape.

Thomas M. Ray has joined SRC as Vice President and Media Director. He has been instrumental in several web product launches as well as strategic planning responsibilities for brands including Wachovia, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Crystal Cruises, and MGM Films. Most recently, Ray was Vice President, Associate Media Director for Trone Advertising in Greensboro, NC where he worked on such accounts as Uniroyal Tires, Schult Homes, and Buildnet. Gracing his resume are such agencies as Saatchi & Saatchi, Rubin Postaer, Italia/Gal, and Long Haymes Carr Lintas and such clients as Shoney’s Inc., Yamaha Motorsports, Century 21, and the California Lottery. Ray received his undergraduate degree from University of Richmond and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
