Atlantan Eric Haney, will get paid for writing about his life. Not any 9 to 5 ordinary life. Haney will record his experiences as one of the founding members of the Delta Force, the U. S. Army’s elite fighting unit. New York Daily News’ columnists Rush and Malloy, reported: “Chuck Norris, move over. One of the founding members of the real Delta Force is writing what promises to be the first insider look of the elite Special Forces unit. . . . ‘Eric routinely faced death in every hot spot in the world,’ says his Literary Group agent, Frank Weimann.” Freedom is not free, and Haney’s book promises to remind us of the sacrifices and valor that make us safe to create.
Book writing is in the family. Dianna Edwards, whose credits include beyond being Haney’s wife, being a well known Copywriter and frequent Oz contributor , is in the home stretch on her second book for Rockport Publishers. The book is titled “Creating Desire: The art of catalog design.” Edwards collaborated with legendary designer, Robert Valentine to write her catalog manifesto which will feature some of the country’s most beautiful catalogs including Neiman Marcus’ The Book, Abercrombie & Fitch and Harley-Davidson. Working as the writer’s elves were Editorial Assistant, Hadley Higginson; Project Manager, Jenifer Cooper; and Editors, Mimi Bean and Tania Rochelle.
