Merill-Hall New Media announced the addition of Tal Herman as Partner and Andrew Old as Lead Developer. Before moving to the technology planet, Herman played numerous roles for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco and spent two years as sole practioner. As a technology consultant and web designer, he has redesigned and built numerous sites and Internet applications. His most recent position was Senior Information Designer for IBM Interactive and New Media Solutions. His degrees include an MS from Georgia Tech in Information Design and Technology and JD from Boalt Hall from the University of California at Berkeley.

Old received a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1995 and an MS in Operation Research in 1997 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. The young Old served as the Lead Technical Developer from his alma mater Tech where he worked on WebBook, an Internet based knowledge repository of modeling and distributed simulation information.
