Taking professional wrestling into an entirely new ring, that of prepaid cellular, 7 ATE 9 recently completed production on a spot for TRAFCONE with Integer/Dallas and Turner’s World Championship Wrestling. Director/Producer, Art Spigel shot the spot with WCW champion, Jeff Jarrett, known for smashing guitars over the heads of his opponents. Paul Orendorf, III played Jarrett’s unlucky victim in a comedic pummeling in the name of better communication. Director of Photography, Marc Dobiecki captured all the action using multiple cameras, including two crash cam rigs, in a full size ring constructed on PC&E’s Stage One. Telecine was handled by Marina Skopinich of VTA. Editor, Eric De Fino finished the spot at 11th Street Post. Producer, Kevin Muir of ImageMil Studios and Partner/Coordinator, Joulles Wright handled the production while 7 ATE 9’s Michele Thomas took care of multi-agency logistics.
7 ATE 9 also worked on a spot for the AT&T Road Report for the WCW. Spigel, Dobliecki, and Muir produced a new identity package for WCW’s weekly road report, sponsored by 1-800-CALL-ATT. The shoot went behind the scenes for WCW Monday Nitro including a special cage match. 7 ATE 9 captured the entire undertaking as the WCW fleet rolled into Phillips Arena using multiple cameras, a mobile pole cam rig, and WCW tractor-trailer mounted cameras. In an amazing upset, Jeff Jarrett lost his title during the shooting of the AT&T Road Report.
